The Conservancy selected the team of 3. Fromme Design and MGB+A (Salt Lake City, UT) to lead Staff and Board members through an inclusive group process envisioning a significant expansion to the existing gardens. Fromme facilitated the group through participatory workshops to create a compelling master plan clearly expressing the Conservancy’s advocacy related to realisitc water wise best practices for homeowners. The resulting physical and programmatic framework transforms the Conservancy’s water related messages into engaging, beautiful, and interpretive spaces. Key activities included establishing expansion goals, generating the ideal visitor experience, identifying overarching learning themes, and articulating the garden’s aesthetic identity. The master plan also addressed new exhibits, integration with the existing gardens, circulation, and service access.
